What You'll Do:

• Operate GE HDXT MRI systems to produce diagnostic images.
• Collaborate closely with fellow technologists and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain adherence to all safety and radiation protocols.
• Work approximately 9 patients per shift, ensuring timely and accurate imaging procedures.
• Participate in a team-based environment, never working solo, with coverage always provided by another MRI Tech or aide.
• Follow department protocols, especially concerning patient care and safety after midnight call coverage.
• Adhere to scheduling policies, including noting requested time off upfront, with a maximum of 5 days RTO allowed during assignment.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience operating GE HDXT MRI systems.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work night shifts reliably and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar hospital or outpatient setting.
• Additional certifications such as MRI technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Familiarity with departmental scheduling and patient management systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• At least 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Other Requirements:

• Valid MRI technologist certification and licensure as required by state law.
• Willingness to work night shifts and participate in on-call rotation after midnight.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and department compliance standards.
• Must reside outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify, and include your permanent address during profile upload.
