- Start Date:

- Schedule: 2 Days Per Week
Clinical Details
- Comfortable working independently, managing chronic cardiac conditions, and adapting to the structure and security protocols of a correctional environment
- Run on site cardiology clinics in facilities, seeing new consults and follow up patients
- Duties include interpreting cardiac diagnostics, adjusting medications, managing chronic cardiac disease, and advising facility medical staff on triage decisions
- All care is outpatient and non invasive, delivered within the prison clinic space
- EMR: Epic
- Support staff: Nurse
- Patients per day: 10
Requirements
- Board certified non invasive cardiologist with strong outpatient experience and solid skills in EKG, echo, stress testing, and Holter/event monitor interpretation
- Experience with underserved or complex patient populations is preferred
