Receiving AssociateThe Receiving Associate is responsible for managing all incoming shipments and ensuring that deliveries are accurately unloaded, inspected, and stored in the appropriate areas of the warehouse. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory is properly documented and that all incoming products meet quality standards.Essential FunctionsReceive and unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks.Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders for accuracy.Inspect shipments for damages, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues.Organize and store products in designated areas of the warehouse.Ensure the receiving area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.Communicate effectively with drivers, and team members regarding any issues or discrepancies.Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.CompetenciesStrong Customer Focus; is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the customer, and the ability to effectively build relationships.High sense of urgency and drives for results.Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet objectives within a prescribed time period.Motivated self-started who can work independently and is proactive.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material handling tools. Use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus.Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment and in a controlled temperature environment.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
