POSITION SUMMARYThis position provides comprehensive and continuing health and medical care services in full scope Family Medicine practice with Obstetrics optional. The physician requires the recognition and knowledge of diseases and injuries, which require referral including those which are difficult to discover or identify. Assumes responsibility for the diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation of patients in the capacity of a senior attending or expert. More info about area:

Condensed List of Position ResponsibilitiesThe following is a shortened version of the full duties for the Physician - Family Medicine position at TCRHCC:Interview and examine patients; order and interpret diagnostic tests; provide treatment or referrals.Provide emergency care and assist with office-based procedures.Manage outpatient care including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.Educate and counsel patients and families.Provide prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care as needed.Refer patients to external facilities and ensure follow-up care.Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.Collaborate with allied health professionals for comprehensive patient care.Train and supervise medical students and residents.Participate in hospital committees and organizational activities.Maintain legible documentation and utilize Electronic Health Records.Participate in EHR-related workflows and testing initiatives.Work in various clinic locations as assigned.Follow PPE protocols and infection control procedures.Complete training for cleaning and decontamination of contaminated surfaces.Perform other duties as assigned. Education:Must have a Medical Degree, MD or DOLicense:•Must possess and maintain a current and unrestricted license to practice as a physician in any State Territory, District of Columbia or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico•Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Family PracticeExperience:Completion of three (3) years of accredited residency training in Family PracticeCredentialing:Must become a credentialed member of the TCRHCC Medical Staff Work Type:
