Geriatric Wellness Unit Registered Nurse

At Johnson Memorial Hospital, the Registered Nurses (RN) in Geriatric Wellness unit specializes in mental health care to elderly patients experiencing psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. This role involves direct patient care, emotional support, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and compassionate treatment.

What you will do:

• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor psychiatric symptoms in elderly patients.
• Work closely with all physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapist to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Valid RN License in Connecticut

Position Highlights:

• Part Time-24 Hours/Day Shift
• Every Other Weekend/Holiday
