We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Food Runner to play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of operations in our restaurant. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for the delivery of dishes to our guests, maintaining communication between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our dining experience.  Join our vibrant team at OTL Restaurant Group, a leading restaurant group with 10 locations across Idaho, Arizona, and Colorado. What you'll do:

Quickly and efficiently deliver food/drink to tables.

Ensure ticket times and orders are going out correctly with any modifications by the guest. You're the last line of defense!

Plate Presentation: Ensure that each dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards for presentation, accuracy, and quality.

Communication: Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to facilitate smooth coordination of orders.

Quality Control: Conduct a final quality check on all dishes, verifying accuracy and adherence to established standards.

Timing: Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure that all components of a dish are ready for service simultaneously.

Expedite Orders: Prioritize and expedite orders based on customer preferences and time of order.

Problem Resolution: Address any issues or discrepancies with orders promptly and effectively.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized expo station to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Demonstrate composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Have flexibility in working weekends and occasional holidays.

Maintain a willingness to step in as needed to ensure the restaurant's smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar food running/expeditor role is preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

The base hourly pay range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position. $15.16 per hour plus tips!
