About the Position

Job Title: Day/Evening Rotating Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Evening Rotating Hours per Shift: Combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci) is preferred Experience in oncology is also preferred Circulate and scrub experience is preferred EPIC experience required Description: Provide high-quality nursing care on a day/evening rotating schedule. Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Staff sign up for call shifts typically 2-3 times during a 4-week schedule period. Depending on the shift, it may be required to pick up follow-up calls during specified hours. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 45 patients. The facility is a leading cancer care provider recognized for quality patient care and professional nursing practice. Interdisciplinary collaboration is emphasized to support patient care.
