Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated full-time faculty physician to join our well-established internal medicine residency program at our outpatient clinic located in San Antonio, TX.
Ideal Candidates:

• Position focused solely on outpatient clinical teaching—no inpatient responsibilities involved.
• Prior teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be comfortable instructing within a newly formed program.
• Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
• This role is part-time GME clinical faculty.
• Preference for candidates with over a year of practice experience, though recent graduates from ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency programs will also be considered.
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and providing exceptional patient care is crucial.
• Responsibilities will include a busy outpatient clinic, resident supervision, teaching, and administrative tasks.

• Our organization boasts over 300 residency and fellowship programs nationwide.
• Graduate Medical Education was initiated at our hospital in 2024.
• Currently, we offer 2 residency programs and 1 podiatry program, accommodating 38 resident positions.

• The internal medicine program is accredited for 45 residents and holds Initial Accreditation status.
