Borgo, the celebrated Italian trattoria from The Marlow Collective, is seeking Pastry Cooks with weekend availability. We have full time and part time openings. We offer:

Key responsibilities:

• Pastry prep and production (cakes, ice creams, tarts, and specialty desserts)
• Ensure all items are prepared according to both quality standards in a timely manner.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe workstation.
• Label, stock, and organize inventory.
• Break down workspace fully. Clean and sanitize workstation prior to departing the shift.

Successful candidates will:

• Have 1+ years of professional cooking experience with basic knife skills and solid production skills. Prior baking experience is strongly preferred.
• Have an interest in seasonal cooking
• Display keen attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and curious
• Have a receptive and charitable attitude toward constructive feedback
• Be interested in working collaboratively towards meeting the goals of the team and the business

While performing the duties of the job, a Pastry Cook is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)
