About the Position

Job Title: CVICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN licensure required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience required - NxStage experience preferred Description: CVICU RN that is competent to care for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients. The unit cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients. There is a 2:1 patient ratio including patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage.
