A day in the life
You arrive, review the blueprint, and plan your passes. You dial in your flux-cored arc welder, choose the right wire and filler for the alloy at hand, and lay down consistent beads that meet production standards. Precision tape measurements guide every fit-up, and your setups keep the line moving efficiently.
What you will do- Interpret and work directly from blueprints to execute accurate weld sequences
- Pass 1G & 3G weld tests demonstrating strong technique and consistency
- Select appropriate wire and filler materials for various steel alloys and aluminum
- Use a tape measure to confirm dimensions and tolerances before and after welding
- Configure welding setups for efficient production throughput
- Flux-Cored Arc Welder
- Must submit to a criminal background search
