Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sierra Mental Care Center, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Conducting thorough assessments of clients, including individual and family dynamics to identify issues affecting mental health. \n
- Facilitating therapy sessions for couples and families, addressing topics such as relationship conflicts, communication issues, and life transitions. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of families and individuals, while utilizing digital tools for remote therapy. \n
- Providing crisis intervention and support for clients dealing with substance abuse, grief, trauma, and medical issues. \n
- Documenting treatment plans and progress notes accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure a holistic approach to client care. \n
In this role, you will support a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents dealing with various challenges. Common areas of focus will include:

- Alcohol and substance abuse. \n
- Psychological and emotional trauma. \n
- Grief and loss counseling. \n
- Family conflicts and sibling rivalry. \n
- Adjustment disorders related to separation or divorce. \n
- Communication difficulties within families. \n
- Issues regarding blended families and parenting challenges. \n
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. \n
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with clients. \n
