Hiring: Senior Supplier Performance Engineer

Location: Cranberry Township, PA | Hybrid + Travel

Duration: Long Term Contract

We are looking for Supplier Performance Engineers to support our direct client with a focus on the fabrication of Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site and remote supplier oversight to ensure manufacturing, quality, and technical requirements are met.
• Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans covering manufacturing activities, documentation, inspections, and testing.
• Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality issues, and non-conformances.
• Identify supplier risks, investigate manufacturing issues, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Design Engineering, Supplier Quality, and supplier teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Develop supplier improvement and risk mitigation plans.
• Review manufacturing drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• Relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, or supply-chain operations. Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as precision machining, welding, forming, mechanical assembly, inspection, NDE/NDT, and testing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and quality plans, PFMEA, process capability analysis (Cpk), and corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, preferably ASME standards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and supplier coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier/manufacturing facilities.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Power Generation, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Production, Shipbuilding, Heavy Manufacturing, or Industrial Supply Chain.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid in Cranberry Township, PA, with two days per week in the office when not traveling.
