Clinical Therapist

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with GuideStar Eldercare you will provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly individuals who are afflicted with neurocognitive disorders and other neurologic and/or psychiatric conditions.What you will do:Provide evaluationProvide condition-specific support therapy, or when indicated, insight-based therapyCoordinate the patient's care plan with the facility, PCP and GuideStar colleagues, and engage with the family as indicated.Required Qualifications:Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment teamGood time management skillsAble to function autonomously with regional Area Manager supportMaster's degree in Mental Health Counseling or in Social WorkCurrently licensed as an LMHC or LCSW in the state in which you are applyingPreferred Skills:Passion for geriatricsExperience in inpatient settings such as extended care facilitiesExperience with brief bedside assessment screens (cognitive, mood, etc.)Motivated by productivity-based positionsAbility to navigate and document on an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemBenefits:Industry competitive salary with additional income potential through productivity bonusExcellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401KEmployee's medical premiums are 100% company paidAnnual CME/CEU reimbursement up to $1,50060-day new-hire training programFour (4) weeks paid time offSeven (7) paid holidaysState licensing reimbursementCompany provided medical malpractice insuranceAll GuideStar employees must be vaccinated against the Flu.
