The cookprepares menu-listed foods in large quantities at prescribed serving schedules(e.g., follow recipes; measures ingredients; operates ovens, stove, foodprocesser, microwave, steamer, toasters, blender, meat slicer, grill, fryers,mixer, etc.); visually inspects delivered food to verify quality of food; usesfood thermometers to ensure proper temperature of food is reached andmaintained during preparation and serving; prepares specialized diet items asrequired in accordance with approved recipes as directed; prepares food formeetings, parties, and seasonal events requiring food service as assigned. Assist withcoordination of food service; sets up food carts, visually inspects plated foodto ensure attractive presentation of food before serving; pushes and pullscarts with food and dishes. Delivers food carts to and from dining rooms asassigned, assists with serving meals as assigned. Cleans workarea and service equipment and cleans other areas as needed, cleans pots, pansand utensils; maintains cleanliness of equipment repair and maintenance needsto the Food Service Director; removes trash from kitchen and takes toappropriate location. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio
