Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver high-quality emergency room nursing care in alignment with facility protocols and standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• Basic Life Support – BLS (AHA) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support – PALS (AHA) certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course – TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma center environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Experience as a travel nurse, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
