Electrical Designer II - Texas

To support the design and development of high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems, the full-time Electrical Designer II - Texas will prepare and revise design drawings, assist engineers with deliverables, and ensure compliance with industry standards, with the option for remote work. Key responsibilities Support the design and development of high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems Prepare and revise P&C design drawings, including single-line and three-line diagrams Assist in the development and organization of relay and control panel documentation Required qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in substation design, particularly in Protection & Control systems Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar design software Familiarity with substation components including relays, batteries, chargers, and control panels Knowledge of applicable industry standards including IEEE, NEC, and NESC
