Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Beverly MA Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $19.28 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training As a Security Officer in Beverly, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.28 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
