Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of telecommunications installation experience, preferably in Central Office environments, or documented equivalent proficiency.
• Hands-on experience installing Central Office equipment, racks, panels, cabling, and passive infrastructure.
• Knowledge of fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, wiring, and basic commissioning.
• Experience with cable routing, dressing, lacing, and stitching.
• Familiarity with Telcordia GR-1275, AT&T TP-76300, and TP-76400 standards.
• Ability to read and follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, digital reporting, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to travel nationwide, work flexible schedules, and lift 40+ pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and maintain telecommunications equipment, racks, panels, and cabling.
• Perform fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, and basic commissioning activities.
• Install and remove wiring, switchboard cabling, and connections on non-working equipment.
• Route, label, dress, lace, and stitch cables according to installation standards.
• Follow customer-specific requirements, applicable Telcordia standards, and MOPs.
• Conduct equipment inventories and submit accurate daily progress reports.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Coordinate with field technicians, project teams, and service partners to ensure successful project execution.
