Asset Protection & Safety Specialist

Summary The Asset Protection Outlet Associate is responsible for supporting loss-prevention and safety efforts at the Jersey Gardens outlet location. This role combines visible floor presence, surveillance, and investigative tasks to deter theft and maintain a secure shopping environment. The associate collaborates with store leadership to document incidents and support operational controls. Responsibilities Conduct high-visibility patrols of the sales floor, entrances, and common areas to deter theft and promote safety. Monitor surveillance systems and observe customer activity, reporting suspicious behavior per store procedures. Investigate incidents of theft or loss, prepare detailed incident reports, and assist with evidence handling as directed. Support inventory control and merchandise recovery efforts, and coordinate with store management and external authorities when required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or loss prevention experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform light physical tasks. Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear written reports. Must be able to pass a background check and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
