Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in California
• Previous experience working within school settings preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student populations and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and provide evidence-based therapy for students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address speech, language, and communication needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and services
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student planning, and communicate recommendations to staff and families
• Offer strategies and resources for generalization of communication skills across school environments
• Serve as an advocate for students’ developmental and educational success
