Data Platform Engineer

To support a vibrant team, the remote Data Platform & Cloud Engineer, AI-Enabled Developer will manage the health of the data warehouse and Azure cloud infrastructure while developing internal tools using AI-assisted coding practices. Key Responsibilities Administer and optimize SQL Server/Azure SQL data warehouse, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality management Design and build internal software applications using AI-assisted development tools, translating business needs into functional solutions Oversee Azure subscription management, ensuring security, cost management, and compliance with technology policies Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience with SQL Server or similar relational database platforms in a production environment Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and data warehouse architecture Proficiency in administering Microsoft Azure subscriptions, including role-based access control and platform security Strong SQL skills, particularly in query optimization and performance troubleshooting Experience using AI coding assistants as part of a software development workflow Virtual Vocations Inc
