Customer Service Engineer

Description Involves collecting, cleaning, and interpreting complex data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights, helping businesses make informed decisions, improve efficiency, and spot growth opportunities through reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI, often requiring strong analytical skills and relevant degrees in fields such as Math, Stats, or Computer Science. Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Cleaning: Gathering data from various sources (databases, APIs) and preparing it for analysis by handling missing values and inconsistencies. Analysis & Interpretation: Using statistical techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and answer key business questions. Reporting & Visualization: Creating clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations (charts, graphs) to present findings to stakeholders. Collaboration: Working with technical (IT, Data Scientists) and non-technical (management, marketing) teams to understand needs and deliver insights. Strategy Support: Providing data-driven recommendations for business strategy, process improvements, and identifying new opportunities. Common Tools & Skills Tools: SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, Google Sheets. Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, statistical knowledge, database management, data mining, and data modeling. Typical Duties Developing and maintaining databases and data collection systems. Performing ad-hoc analysis for specific projects. Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. Supporting forecasting and customer segmentation projects. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range: $31.78 - $54.04 Per Hour. Primary Location: USA-TX-Richardson.
