CT TechnologistJob Title: CT TechnologistProfession: CT TechnologistSpecialty: CT TechnologistDuration: 13 weeksShift: SUN, MON, TUES, THURSHours per Shift: 10.5 hoursExperience: Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required.License: Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board.Certifications: ARRT Registered RT (R) or RT (N). ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred. Must-Have: CPR certified.Description: Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and technical specialist. Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures. Serves a diverse range of patients from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts. Capable of inserting and removing IVs. Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
