Kinship Family Advocate

Kinship Family Advocate Starting Salary: $48,000- $52,000 (Annually) What you will do: Carry a Kinship caseload. Professionally represent Cornerstones of Care to the professional and social community, including communicating with supervisors and administrators across agencies at comparable levels. Assist the family in cultivating natural and informal family and community supports which can help the family achieve safety and permanency for children. Ensure compliance with all DCF and Cornerstones of Care standards and requirements, as set forth in policy, contracts/grants, and licensing documents as it relates to assigned programs. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the families' needs which includes working after traditional hours and on weekends. What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, human services, education, counseling or psychology. At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
