Material HandlerCardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Material Handler for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. As a Material Handler you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is clean, undamaged, and ready to ship. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shift:2nd shift: 4:30PM to 1AM (Sunday), 3:30PM to 12AM (Monday to Thursday) (same day overtime is possible)Duties and Responsibilities:Scanning packages with RF Scanner for loading trucksPerform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking, and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operationAssist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructionsOperate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move or deliver stockPerform general clean-up activitiesMaintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to SupervisorRequirements and Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalentAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBasic computer skillsAbility to use and understand scanning technologyAbility to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise mannerMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
