As a CNA in our Home Care business, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to seniors and individuals in need, allowing them to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their homes. Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Alice

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
2. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and document medication administration accurately.
3. Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance the well-being of clients.
4. Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and client preferences.
5. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed.
6. Observe and report changes in clients' health and well-being, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any concerns or issues to the care coordinator or nurse.
8. Provide personalized care that respects the dignity, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience as a CNA in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the lives of clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
• Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
