Primary Department or Practice: Emergency Department, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Position Highlights

• Per Diem schedule with flexibility
• Competitive hourly pay: $91.86$107.20
• Collaborative ED environment within a supportive community hospital
• Work alongside physicians, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of acute and urgent conditions
• Perform appropriate procedures within scope
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required
• Prior Emergency Department or urgent care experience strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
