Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

A health services system in Massachusetts is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide inpatient cardiology coverage across two hospital campuses. This locum opportunity offers a weekday schedule, no call, and the support of an advanced practice provider.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient non-invasive cardiology consultations and follow-up care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Interpret and manage non-invasive cardiac diagnostics as appropriate
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease
- Active Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain one
- Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration or willingness to obtain them
Desired Skills:
- Prior locum tenens or travel experience
