Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health | Psychiatric ICU Location : Vallejo, CA Schedule Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 5 x 8‑hour shifts Typically every other weekend required Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health to join our Psychiatric ICU team. In this role, you will provide coordinated, patient‑centered care while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support individuals facing mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities Include: Deliver compassionate psychiatric nursing care using the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and healthcare teams Support patients and families through education and therapeutic communication Maintain a safe, healing, and structured environment Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing support staff Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives Utilize critical thinking and independent clinical judgment daily Qualifications Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California Current BLS/CPR certification Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience Preferred CPI Certification (may be obtained onsite) #J-18808-Ljbffr
