Location Full Time Indirect, Denver, CO, US Salary $99,800.00 to $118,800.00 per year Roles and Responsibilities Meets daily with electrical engineering team to identify and remove roadblocks. Develops electrical power generation and power distribution systems for marine applications. Creates and reviews wiring routing tables with passthrough information, termination identification, wire type, connector part numbers, and label descriptions in MS Access. Produces electrical plant load analysis with wire sizing and component protection in accordance with ABS and other classification society standards. Establishes functional and acceptance test plans for system designs. Ensures all work is performed per specifications, drawings, and contract terms, including ABS and other classification society standards within assigned SWBS section. Creates and reviews Engineering Change Notifications to formally release design data. Develops engineering deliverables in accordance with engineering processes, ensuring safe, fit‑for‑purpose deliverables, and presenting associated materials for life‑cycle reviews. Coordinates with sub‑contractors and vendors to receive inputs to design activities. Reviews ShipConstructor 3D models and associated 2D drawings/schematics in accordance with company, industry, and project standards. Creates engineering reports showing compliance with project requirements based on design, test, analysis, and similarity. Partners with quality to troubleshoot installation issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions. Reviews peers' work for compliance with engineering standards. Qualifications / Skills / Experience Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. At least 4 years of marine electrical engineering experience. Experience with government procurement and contracting, including requirement review and specification traceability. Electrical system functional design experience developing marine power distribution, lighting, motor controllers, and alarm systems. Electrical system analysis expertise performing plant load analysis, short‑circuit analysis, voltage‑drop, and breaker‑coordination studies. Electrical system detail design experience managing wireway, penetration, cable termination, cable labels, and cable routing database design. Strong understanding of ABS, IEEE, IEC, NEC, CFR, and MIL‑SPEC electrical system requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Benefits EAP Life insurance
