TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Spokane, Washington, 99016!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends per facility needs
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission — post-offer requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under alternative terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
• Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience, particularly within a large health system environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple units
• Experience working in high-acuity Medical Surgical settings with higher patient ratios
