The ideal candidate will be organized and a highly motivated team player with strong initiative and communication skills and possesses the drive to deliver quality results on time in a dynamic, multi-discipline, intensive and highly productive small team environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and own the entire electronics rack for the eProbe platformDesign electro-mechanical modules from concept to production, including electronic enclosures, layout of cable routing and cable management, machined parts, sheet metal, welding etc.Conduct system and module analysis, such as thermal modeling, GD&T including tolerancing stack-upInterface with other Mechanical, System, Software and Electrical engineers to ensure proper mechanical module integrationDesign and analysis of system structural componentsCreate documentation including drawings, BOMs and proceduresManage suppliers to ensure design requirements and project schedules are metSupport engineering projectsDrive continuous engineering projects and process improvementsQualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical EngineeringSolid analytical and engineering skills5+ years' experience in mechanical engineering, preferable in semiconductorProficiency with 3D solid modeling, preferably SolidWorksExperience with FEA, thermal, flow, and vibrationExperience with supplier managementAbility to work effectively and partner with various team membersAbility to manage multiple priorities, work under time constraints and deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and influencing skillsAbility to respond to, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest of standards for completeness and accuracy.Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced team environment with ability to adapt to changeExperience working in Cleanrooms or production fabs where particle and chemical contamination is criticalExperience using Solidworks ElectricalExperience creating P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and electrical schematicsExperience designing electro-mechanical enclosures and component interface placement working closely with EE's to ensure proper fitPay Range USD $130,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
