ABOUT OUR AGENCY: I opened my agency in 2015 and currently lead a close-knit team of five. My State Farm career began right out of college when I became a team member and helped launch a new agency. That experience gave me firsthand knowledge of what it takes to build a successful office and ultimately inspired me to open an agency of my own. I'm a proud Indiana University graduate, a dad of two daughters, and outside of work, I enjoy golfing and traveling.

Giving back is important to our team. We support local organizations and community events throughout the year, including participating in Trunk or Treat and other opportunities to get involved and connect with the people we serve.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: John Elbin - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
