Custodian/Groundskeeper

Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for performing general Grounds Keeping and Custodial duties throughout the center.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Maintains and cares for the out door areas of the Center
• Operates machinery such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, tractors, etc...
• Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
• Performs minor building construction tasks.
• Performs interior and exterior center janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments.
• Attends required staff training sessions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Minimum : High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and write English. Six months experience, to include transportation and/or building maintenance.

Preferred : One year or more work-related experience.

Knowledge : Must possess a valid State driver’s license. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification. Ability to operate power tools.
