With more than 4 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry.Job SummaryThe Principal Test Engineer is responsible for the development of production test solutions for SiTime's precision timing products. We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on individual to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop highly optimized test solutions enabling SiTime's game-changing timing products.Responsibilities:Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new productsContribute to pre-silicon test program simulation/verification and AI tool implementationEngage with design team on Design for Test (DFT) features and test plansDevelop test software on ATE platforms, such as Teradyne ETS-88 and UltraFLEXLead release-to-production activities and support the product into high volume productionLead yield enhancement and cost reduction projectsProvide technical mentorship to other team membersSupport other projects as needed by management or as business needs evolveQualifications & Requirements :Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of related work experienceBackground in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs. Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne's ETS-88 or UltraFLEX preferred but not requiredKnowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level troubleshooting and debugAbility to analyze and interpret test data, drive root cause analysis and corrective actionsHands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentationExperience with timing ICs (clock buffers, clock generators, PLLs, etc.) is preferred but not requiredExcellent programming skills and prior experience with C++.Must be physically able to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs.Desired Characteristics & Attributes:High level of self-motivation and drive to make an impactStrong people skills, and mentorship skills for engineers in the teamStrong sense of ownership, desire to understand and solve problems, and drive to the finish lineStrong interest in being hands-on in the labAbility and desire to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensation Range :At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards. We offer a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation package designed to attract top talent.The annual base salary range for this role is $148,320.00 – $203,940.00 . The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact.
