Senior AccountantMontebello, CA$80,000-100,000, based on experienceContract To Hire; Full-Time | Fully OnsiteWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing company in the Montebello area. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has strong experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Controller with preparation of monthly and annual financial statementsMaintain accuracy of financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded in the general ledgerPerform account reconciliations and detailed account analysis across multiple entitiesManage fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and reconciliationsAssist with month-end close processes, reporting, and financial analysisPrepare various business filings and tax-related reports including sales and use tax filingsSupport preparation of borrowing base reports and royalty reportingGenerate weekly and monthly operational and sales-related reports for leadership reviewAssist with annual audits, outside accounting reviews, and bank reporting requirementsParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredMinimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processesAdvanced Excel and spreadsheet reporting skillsExperience with ERP/accounting systems; Sage 100 Contractor experience is a plusManufacturing industry experience preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyHigh level of professionalism and confidentialityPay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Allison LauBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
