Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. This position is essential for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and surgical needs.
• Manage patient assessments, administer medications, and document care plans.
• Maintain an optimal patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Schedule

This position is for Day shifts, with hours running from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Every other weekend is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact or AL Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Med-Surg setting.
