Number of Beds -42
Number of Staff 70
Type of staff:
Day Shift 1 charge, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT per shift
Night Shift 1 charge, 10-15 RNs, 1 PCT per shift
Patient Ratios level 3: 1-3 per nurse depending on acuity, level 2: 3-4 per nurse
Type of equipment isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, computers
EMR meditech and CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
NRP
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
STABLE
Experience with central lines UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, etc
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
IV starts
PICC insertions (trained clinicians)
Best personality Fit:
Team player, self motivator
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
RN licensure, NRP, STABLE preferred
Floating Area(s):
Newborn nursery
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Will have resource on unit
Weekends and On call(if any)
4 weekend shifts per schedule minimum, on call occasionally
