We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community providing quality care to the residents we serve, located in Grants Pass, OR. We are looking for caring & compassionate resident minded individuals to join our team.
Charge / Wound Care Nurse OpportunityMust be a Registered Nurse (RN)! Wound Care Certification Not Required, but Would Be Preferred. As a charge nurse (RN), you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being. You will:
- Train staff and assist the director of nursing
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations
- Possess a current registered nurse license in good standing
- Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!
