The Role

As a Logistics Engineer at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, you will be working on analyzing complex logistical processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing smart, efficient solutions. You will work on solutions for our client in the high-tech medical industry at our locations in Son en Breugel, Oirschot, and Best. You will be challenged to not only renew processes but also to work project-wise and successfully implement these changes. In addition, you will work closely with the client on projects to analyze, improve, and implement processes. You get energy from working with different stakeholders, challenging starting points, and managing projects. This requires flexibility, quick switching at different levels, and an innovative approach to meet both customer and company needs.

You get energy from the possibility to build projects from the ground up and let your creativity run free. In this role, you determine how you design your solutions within the set frameworks, which gives you the freedom to apply your own ideas and methods. Creativity, independence, and dealing with rapidly changing priorities are crucial here.

The Team

You will join a young, ambitious, and informal team with a lot of expertise. Together with two colleagues and a team lead Engineering, you will be part of the larger OpEx team (15-20 people), spread over several locations. In addition, you will work a lot with the (operational) teams at our different locations in Son en Breugel, Oirschot, and Best. We are currently working on challenging projects, such as the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), the implementation of an AGV, and the redesign of existing processes.

In Short

• Optimizing and (re-)arranging logistical processes;
• Analyzing existing processes and proposing improvement suggestions;
• Working in close cooperation with the client to improve processes;
• Working project-wise with colleagues from other departments, but also from other locations.

What You Bring:

• Higher education level and interest in logistics;
• Good communication skills;
• Relevant work experience (maximum 5 years), preferably in a logistical or production environment, is a plus;
• Good communication skills, both in Dutch and English;
• You are analytically strong and can work accurately;
• You can work independently on a project;
• You are stress-resistant and can work result-oriented.
