Custodian

Responsibilities The Custodian is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the Distribution Center, including offices, restrooms, and other areas as assigned. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor or Sr. Mgr, Safety and Maintenance and is based in either our Braselton or Stockbridge Distribution Center. 75% – Daily Operations: Efficiently handle tasks such as cleaning offices, break rooms, and restrooms; maintain an adequate cleaning supply inventory; communicate inventory needs to the maintenance department; wear appropriate safety equipment/work boots and gloves as required; complete additional distribution functions as instructed, including support of maintenance activities; observe housekeeping, safety and C‑TPAT compliance in the assigned area of responsibility; stay within compliance of company policies regarding safety. 25% – Support Functions: Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all duties as assigned within all operational areas of the Distribution Center; perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and facility objectives and key performance indicators. Customer‑service orientation, willing to exceed expectations of customers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and stand for shifts up to 12 hours long. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, managers, and peers. Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods during peak periods. Previous custodial experience preferred. A self‑starter with a desire to exceed expectations.
