Job Description

We are looking for a Cleaning Rack Operator who will be responsible for all aspects of car cleaning including the inspection, care and maintenance of equipment used in the cleaning process.

Shift: Monday - Friday; 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Pay rate: $22.00 Hourly

Job Requirements

• Ability to enter confined spaces wearing movement and sight restricting PPE with limited lighting to clean.
• Clean interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.
• Inspect clean railcars interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Use industrial steam cleaning units.
• Utilization of high-power washers without direct supervision.
• Safe use of industrial cleaning agents.
• Familiarity with valves and fitting.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 feet off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.
