Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our dietary department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food service and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver patient meals, including tray assembly, food preparation, and delivery to patient rooms
Assist with food inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards
Collaborate with dietary staff to develop and implement special diets and menu plans
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and caregivers
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of experience in dietary or food service preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Basic knowledge of food preparation and nutrition
Excellent communication and organizational skills
