Civil or Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level

Entry-Level EngineerFarnsworth Group is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers on telecommunications and utility projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the utility engineering industry.Posting Locations: Frisco, TX, Lisle, IL, St. Louis, MOWhat You'll Do:Support telecommunication and utility related project developmentComplete site visits including but not limited to surveying, locating, and documenting existing conditions (may include overnight travel depending on job location)Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilitiesDesign telecommunications and other utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design softwareWhat You'll Need:BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, from an ABET accredited institution0-3 years of experienceExposure to transportation plans, telecommunications, or utilities a plusEngineer in Training (EIT) certification a plusComputer proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS ProjectMust demonstrate strong written and oral communication skillsMust be willing to travel and have a valid driver's licenseNice To Haves:Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStationWho We Are:Join Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
