Heavy Equipment Operator

Equipment OperatorEsposito Construction is seeking an Equipment Operator with field experience for various job sites across the state. Candidates must have experience running loaders, dozers, excavators and various other machines. Candidates must also have knowledge of site work, earth moving, and utilities installation. Experience with pipe and/or utility work is a plus. We are seeking someone who is motivated, hands-on, self-starter with a proven track record.Benefits:Medical Insurance paid by Esposito Construction for single rate.401(k) eligibility with company contribution.Dental insurance eligibility.Vision insurance eligibility.Paid time off.Pay: Flexible, experience based $25-40 DOEResponsibilities:Operate heavy machinery for excavation, trenching, and backfilling on underground utility and heavy civil projectsDig and prepare trenches for water, sewer, storm, and other pipe installations, including working safely around existing utilitiesLoad, move, and place dirt, gravel, and other materials as needed to support pipe installation and site workAssist in assembling, laying, and connecting pipe systems in trenches according to project specificationsCoordinate with subcontractors and crew members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasksStage and manage equipment and materials on-site to keep operations running efficientlyProvide input for daily and weekly reports, including progress, material usage, and equipment operationFollow strict safety protocols, maintain trench safety, and contribute to a culture of safety awareness on every jobQualifications:Must be able to work in team settingPipe experience preferred but not requiredPhysically capable to work on your feet and lift/move material productivelyMust have a good pair of work bootsOSHA 10 and/or 30 PreferredEsposito Construction LLC is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
