Role Description This is a Part-Time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role based in New Orleans, LA. The Licensed Massage Therapist provides professional massage and bodywork services tailored to guests’ needs, following industry best practices and Spa Aria standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients, conducting brief consultations to understand health history and treatment goals, and performing a variety of massage modalities in a safe and professional manner. The role also involves maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, documenting services, recommending follow-up treatments and products, and collaborating with spa reception and other team members to ensure a smooth guest experience. The therapist is expected to adhere to all ethical guidelines, state regulations, and spa policies while contributing to a calm and respectful work environment. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license in the state of Louisiana and compliance with all state regulatory requirements. Proficiency in core massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic) and a commitment to safe, client-centered care. Strong client communication skills, including the ability to conduct professional consultations and explain services clearly. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment and follow hygiene and sanitation protocols. Customer service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a hospitality setting and support a positive team culture. Physical stamina and body mechanics suitable for performing multiple treatments per shift while minimizing risk of injury. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
