Job / Practice Description

The practice invites a physician to join a private Endocrine group located in a brand‑new building with state‑of‑the‑art technology and onsite labs. The work schedule is four days on clinic with one day reserved for administrative tasks and clinical trial program implementation. There is no call requirement or hospital call. The physician will see 22–24 patients per day and collaborate with a team of four advanced practice providers (APPs). Referrals come from community hospitals, MUSC, and primary care providers. The electronic medical record system used is eClinical.

Responsibilities

• Provide endocrine care to 22–24 patients daily.
• Lead clinical trials as physician of record.
• Perform daily administrative work, including clinical trial program implementation.
• Supervise and collaborate with 4 APPs.
• Oversee referrals from community hospitals, MUSC, and primary care providers.
• Use the eClinical EMR system.

Qualifications

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified Endocrinology.
• Eligible for a South Carolina medical license or currently licensed.
• No prior experience required.

Location

North Charleston, SC – North West of Charleston along the Ashley River, close to Virginia Beach. The area offers family‑friendly communities with excellent public schools within 20 miles, boutique shopping, museums, and nearby coastal beaches.
