2 yrs Intensive Care Unit RN Hospital Experience | ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Location Mamou, Louisiana FT Night Shift RN ICU | Nights Location: Mamou, LA Compensation: $55.00/hr Shift: Nights Length: 8 weeks Requirements 2 Years ICU Experience Required Previous Travel Experience Required Weekend: Yes, every other weekend On-Call: No Required Cert: BLS, NIH, & ACLS Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, completion of “My Care Board” during hand-off report; use of AIDET with a focus on compassionate connected care. Advanced skills needed: Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, and proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems. Unit Specifics Unit staffing description: RNs and Unit secretary. Total care is provided by RNs. Type of equipment: Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, Balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, glucometers. Use of iMobile phones and technology by all staff in the hospital. PPE- includes masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, PAPR’s and hoods for any suspected COVID-19 patient. Floating policy: Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
