Join us!Key Responsibilities:Provide middleware administration duties for critical banking platforms, end-to-end, including WebSphere, jBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache) Delivering middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiativesEnsuring production stability from an ongoing support standpointEnsuring middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer Providing Middleware Server administration which includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing Middleware and Java supportCreate, maintain and support the application deployment templatesServing as a J2EE architect and making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development Designing Middleware infrastructure and topology design for high availability and failover capabilityAll solutions must meet all Policy, Baseline, and Standards along with business requirementsProviding technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas Communicating with business partners at an enterprise levelInterfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC Executing production changes for Bank integrated and regulatory releases with precisionRequired Qualifications:Information Technology professional with 5+ years of experience with the following:Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, TomcatBPM products: AppianLinuxJava/Container Framework KnowledgeKnowledge of shell, Python, and Perl scriptingUnderstanding of Network infrastructure ( TCP/IP, TLS,DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links)Experience with Release Deploy Tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, BitBucketExcellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detailDesired Qualifications: Experience with WebSphere Extreme Scale, BPM Middleware AdministrationDevOps experienceBMC Truesight Server Automation, Harman mDeliver, Ansible Tower, Terraform.Job Description:This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies.
